hisashiburi,

i recently dug through my old xanga... and this xanga. damn. lol. this thing has become a time capsule.

i was quite a creep.

my apparent self actualization at the time wasnt really self actualization.

i guess ive be come an extremely apathetic person. but thats okay.

i guess a couple of updates for the sake of the future.

im a sophmore in college now. 7 years since ive been "blogging" since junior high school. wow.

im an RA and an Art History Major @ Purchase College.

Life is hard and i've found God again, but its still hard.

Many things have changed, not for the better or for the worse, but it is change.

we're still in the Iraq war, ive been on xanga longer than the war. i'll also have spent about 1/3 of my life with my country at war.... 1/3... about 6 years..x3 = 18. im 19 now.

educational institutions have killed any passion i have for anything i love. i no longer want to debate or look at art.

when i look at this, my sleeping problems have been around longer than i remember. sleeping at 4 am on a school night sophomore year of high school.

i look at the old birthday wishes.. the sweet 16, 17, 18. watching us turn legal. im only "one year" away from legal drinking. thats crazy.

the importance of SATS, regents, extracurricular activities, resumes, are all lies, its about what you can and cannot get.

life doesnt have those key turning points, you cant really pin point where things happened, they happen slowly, over time. all the time.

you only realize it in a moment whats been happening all along.

define good. it was acceptable.

i dont know lol.this wasnt the year for new advances. i guess this year i reconnected with lost parts of my past.
3. Did you keep your New Years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
dont think i made any last year and maybe one from years ago this year.
4. What was your favorite moment of the year?
there were some good parts this year. working over the summer. having a good wholesome time. as well as the half sober nights in the football field @ purchase.
5. What was your least favorite moment of the year?
ive chosen to forget most of that but um...giving in to my inner devil and letting it get me again
6. What would you like to have next year that you lacked this year?

june 30 2008? i got my drivers license? thats the only date i can come up with.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
i doubled my gpa this semester from the last.. which means the previous was TERRIBLE. and um getting the RA job. and not getting fired after the first semester.

not landing a man.? lol i dont think i failed this year really. @_@ *knockon wood?

my life is a celebration.

yup all my darling coworkers and FBC friends. =]

i feel there have been mutual fall outs. and i love this man. but hes been a delinquent the day i met him

hard to beleive its only been like less than 5 months since i discovered twilight so. id have to say the saga.

so i am utterly bored that when i looked around to clean my room i spotted my arsenal of vitamin water related stuff.

i wondered.. just how much money i've spent in the past 3 years on Vitamin Water

so here are some stats. chronologically

my high school senior "showcase thing"

you can see about 100 bottles. when i had to take it home. it split into 3 garbage bags 1/2 didnt survive my mothers house purging.

with the surviving, following my motheres wishes to eliminate bottles. i kept only labels.. then my wall paper came about...i started drinking non yellows

84 labels, if my math doesn't fail me

with whatever left over and bought labels went to my wallet making division which tells me ive made at least 40 wallets to day at 3 labels a wallet.

thats 120 labels plus the ones i messed up.

so. what a freakin night

i was on duty...

1. drunk, high messed up conscious student in bighaus. thank God i did not have to deal with it.
2. passed out unconscious student from MY hall in farside.. dealt with it and University Police
3. Guests with no hosts caught climbing crossroads. dealt with University Police.
4. RA Swat Team took out and moved ~~all~~ most high and drunk people away from the res hall area.
5. moved drunk student back into his room with other RAs
6. chased dumb asses setting off fireworks from the fort to the lawn with rest of swat team. never got them.
7. went into the woods looking for pot heads.

go to library print out fliers,
go to hub get chartwells order
go to more store/ bookstore buy refreshments for floor program
initiate floor program
finish 3 sculptures due wednesday at 830 am.
put in work orders. check on residents problems.
eat. shower. work out.

etc. etc. etc.

so. on the first day i drove alone. without my mom

i successfully drove to work. parked.... then the window broke on me.. (wouldnt close)

had it fixed at the auto shop, cost my mom $185. (the other 2 still dont work, but the driver side window is kinda necessary)

drove to jib lanes..with 3 passengers, made it alive "parallel parked" not really just pulled over into the spot.

bowled. balled gained some scratches which caused rage, which allowed me to bowl better.

drive home at 10 pm.. in the dark, found out where my headlights were. ha. got 2 people home =].

some guy failed and parked in our parking spot. buttface.

so. i need more practice.. but i think im okay. apparently. i drive too slow. -_-
